General Information

Can I opt for my team to play just one day in a two day tournament?


Yes, one day options are available to all participating teams. When registering online, clarify in the "Addiditional Information/Special Request" field that your team would like to participate just one of the two days offered and specify which day.




Does Hardwood Basketball Tournaments offer weekend passes for spectators?


No, unfortunately Hardwood Basketball Tournaments does not offer weekend passes at this time, all spectators will pay daily admission prices. Be advised only cash will be accepted at the admission gates.




When will the schedule for my tournament be posted online? Will they be updated again?


Tournament Schedules are posted the Thursday morning prior to the weekend of the event. In some instances, schedules may be completed and posted on the Wednesday prior to the weekend of the event. Check it early, all registrants will be notified when schedules from the weekend are posted. Hard Copy tournament schedules will be posted at your tournament location. The website will be updated the Saturday night of your event following "Pool Play." This update will show you your game time for Sunday's bracket play. Should you not have access for any reason, these updates will also be made on the hard copy brackets hanging at your tournament site. Always Ask before you leave if you're unsure. What are the tournament Rules & Regulations?


The tournament rules and regulations will vary dependent on the size of the tournament. These will always be posted online at the page where you view your tournament schedule, as well as at your tournament location. The main thing that will change between the 4 sets of Rules & Regulations are:

  1. The time lengths of the games
  2. The time lengths of timeouts
  3. The overtime rule / time length
All other rules and regulations will generally be the same. It's always smart to come check!




Do coaches pay for spectator admission? If not, how many coaches passes do I get per weekend?


No, coaches will not pay for the spectator admission fee upon arrival. Any players will not pay in addition. Each team will be furnished ONLY TWO (2) coach passes for each weekend. A coach pass requires the coach actively participate in coaching of the team throughout the tournament. A coach pass grants free admission to the coaches that have arrived at the venue, properly signed-in, and paid their entry fee. A coach pass may be revoked. All individuals responsible for fraudulent claims or statements to obtain a coach pass will be held entirely responsible in re-payment to "Hardwood Basketball Tournaments" for all of the accrued monetary compensation.




How do I know I registered for a tournament Online?


A ticket will be sent to your email address that you used to register once you've completed your online registration. This ticket will include important event information such as the date, time, venue address, and the amount of the payment you've paid or still owe.




Can School Teams Join Hardwood Tournaments?


YES! Hardwood Basketball tournaments attracts multiple school teams, church teams, league teams, NIKE Blue Star teams, Under Armour Select teams, Elite Travel Teams, Recreational Teams, Amateur Travel Teams, & More! Take A Look At Our Schedule and Join Yours Today Here!

What grade levels do we host?


Hardwood Basketball Tournaments will continue to host Grades 2nd through 12th Grade and for both boys and girls for teams across the country.





Coaches

Can I challenge the eligibility of another player on a different team?


Yes, Only coaches may challenge the players of another team at a rate of $150 Per Player. If the protest is Approved (Upheld) and you are correct, thus forfeiting the eligibility of the other player(s) you will recieve your $150 Per Player back. If however your protest is Denied (not upheld) all money you paid to your site director will be forfeited by the coach and kept by Hardwood Basketball Tournaments.
