HARDWOOD BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS

RULES, REGULATIONS, & GUIDELINES

Fighting, weapons of any kind, excessive negative yelling, profanity, and hazing will result in an immediate dismissal from the tournament facility. The site director at the tournament will use local law enforcement agencies for assistance when necessary. Our #1 Priority is to help ensure the safety and security of all attendants & provide a positive tournament experience.

Universal Regulations & Guidelines for all Hardwood Basketball Tournaments & Events Include but are not limited to:

GENERAL

  • Doors will open at the event venue 30 Minutes before the first games of the day are set to start.

  • Any misconduct, abuse of facility or personnel will not be tolerated. If any of these are violated, you will be asked to leave.

  • Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated by event staff -- including but not limited to harassment, hazing, & fighting. 

GAME SPECIFIC RULES

  • Boys Grades 7+ Play With Men's Basketball ; Girls Grades 7+ Play With Women's Ball ; Grades under 7 Play With Women's Ball.

  • All Teams/Players are expected to play in the appropriate age division, fraudulent play may result in forfeits by the director.

  • Each game will consist of 2 halves of a 14 Minute, 16 Minute, 18 Minute, or 20 Minute Duration. Depending on the game duration -- 2, 3, or 4 Time-Outs will be given per game. Game Duration and Time-Outs are applicable to change at any time and may vary between each event. The game duration selected and time-outs granted will be posted at our Tournament Schedule page here at our website alongside the tournament schedule for the weekend.

  • Officials may request to have any coaches, spectators, and official book or score keepers removed by notifying the site director.

  • All rules not listed will be regular High School rules.


REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

  • REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED

  • If your team pays for a tournament & do not attend, a refund will not be issued. However the price you paid for the event can be applied to another event of equal or less value -- Please Contact Us.

  • Exchanges will not be made on tournament merchandise or concession stand purchases.

CREDIT CARDS

  • A 3.5% charge will be applied to team related credit card transactions.

  • Credit Card payments are not available for general admission or weekend passes (when offered) unless deemed necessary by a site director.

  • Coaches may pay any team balances with a credit card.

GENERAL ADMISSION & WEEKEND PASSES

  • Wristbands for General Admission and Weekend Passes must be worn for the duration of the event.

  • Spectators must pay a General Admission fee or purchase a Weekend Pass (when offered) to be granted entry at the event.

  • Credit Cards will not be accepted for general admission or weekend passes (when offered).

  • Checks will not be accepted for general admission or weekend passes (when offered).

  • General Admission and Weekend passes will be granted upon the spectators confirmed payment.

  • Cash is the only acceptable form of payment for General Admission and weekend passes (when offered).

COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You Must Check-In at the Site Director's table upon arrival prior to their first game of the event to receive your coaches passes and pay an outstanding balances. This is a great, quick, & easy time to purchase your Hardwood Tournament Package!

  • Only (2) Coaches Passes are given to each team; Passes are non-transferable & will be revoked  fraudulent behavior.

  • Coaches are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times. Failure may result in removal from the facility, and the inability to participate in or be present at the event.

  • We ask that you please stress to your team the importance of clearing any trash from the being area immediately following each game. This is to ensure that everyone has the clean areas they deserve while participating in their games, trash cans will be positioned near the benches.

  • You are responsible for providing an official clock keeper OR official book-keeper for the scorers table each game. It is in your best interest -- and the individual that no persons under 16 years of age perform as an official-clock or official book-keeper.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate grade documentation for players if requested by the site director

  • You will be responsible for checking the game schedule at your tournament site. Need Help? Have a Question? Ask your site director located at the front entrance of your tournament site near the general admission area.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring your party does not loiter in uncommon areas or areas of official business, such as near concession stands, scores tables, restricted areas, near admission gates, Bathrooms, or Front Entrance/Exit Doors. This is to ensure the safety and security of everyone while at the tournament facility.

  • No soliciting will be tolerated.

 

PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Players are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times. Failure may result in in-game penalties, removal from the facility, and the inability to further participate in or be present at the event.

  • Players will be responsible for ensuring they do not loiter in uncommon areas or areas of official business, such as near concession stands, scores tables, restricted areas, near admission gates, Bathrooms, or Front Entrance/Exit Doors. This is to ensure the safety and security of everyone while at the tournament facility.

 

SPECTATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Spectator are responsible for submitting payment for general admission or a weekend pass (when offered). Spectators will not be allowed to enter the facility until payment has been submitted -- and a Hardwood Basketball Tournaments representative has given you a distinct mark or has issued you a weekend pass (when offered). Loitering & soliciting will not be tolerated.

  • You will be responsible for checking the game schedule at your tournament site. Need Help? Have a Question? Ask your site director located at the front entrance of your tournament site near the general admission area.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring your party does not loiter in uncommon areas or areas of official business, such as near concession stands, scores tables, restricted areas, near admission gates, Bathrooms, or Front Entrance/Exit Doors. This is to ensure the safety and security of everyone while at the tournament facility.

  • No Soliciting will be tolerated.

  • Cheer on your team and display a positive message and a  positive attitude! Fighting, weapons of any kind, excessive negative yelling, profanity, and hazing will result in an immediate dismissal from the tournament facility. The site director at the tournament will use local law enforcement agencies for assistance when necessary. Our #1 Priority is to ensure the safety and security of all attendants.
